Our Farm

Our Farm

Freshfruit Vietnam grows its fruits and vegetables in the best locations that Vietnam has to offer, especially in Binh Thuan Province and the Mekong Delta for our fruits. In the Mekong Delta we work with GLOBALG.A.P. certified farms to source the best quality pomelos, limes, oranges and other fruits for our customers. We have also developed our 30ha prorietary dragon fruit farm in Bình Thuan province for customers. We also have a network of farmers with whom we work in close collaboration to introduce best-practices and demonstrate new protocols, varieties and technologies.

Bio/Organic control

Ensuring the quality and food safety of products is a priority on our farms. So we use bio controls, natural solutions, to solve problems related to pests and diseases. These natural solutions include a combination of 80% organic fertilizer, limited pesticides, no herbicides, to control diseases and insects that are harmful to plants. Our bio controls are good for the plant, the environment, and you.

Variety Testing

Our dragon fruit can be tested to determine optimum growing conditions and to assess their performance against existing varieties – for example we compare yields, shelf-life and taste. Through these tests we can improve the performance of our farms.

Strong Partnership

Technology sets our farms apart, but at the heart of all of our products is the farmer. By working closely with our contract farmers to share best-practices and to introduce strong protocols we can ensure the freshness and quality of each vegetable that arrives on your table.

Drip Irrigation System

Drip irrigation has the potential to save water and nutrients by allowing water to drip slowly to the roots of plants, either from above the soil surface or buried below the surface. The goal is to place water directly into the root zone and minimize evaporation. Plants grown in soil do not need to waste energy searching for moisture but can focus on growth.

Organic Farming

Organic farming relies on natural methods, such as using natural enemies to control pests in a sustainable way. These natural solutions include a combination of beneficial insects, fungi and organic compost that replace agro-chemicals to control diseases and insects that are harmful to plants. So, they are good for the plant, the environment, and you.
